BRAND NEW ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS TRAILER

Walt Disney Pictures have released a brand-new trailer for the sequel to 2010′s fantastical “Alice in Wonderland”. Poor Alice (Mia Wasikowska) – can’t this girl catch a break? First she wakes up in what appears to be a mental institution (where a creepy-looking doctor diagnoses her with a “textbook case of female hysteria”), then once she makes it back to Underland all she gets for her troubles is a mission to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp).

And don’t forget the Red Queen’s (Helena Bonham Carter) insults of, “Oh, Alice, you always were an irksome, slurvish, interrupting thing!” But at least viewers can take comfort in hearing the unmistakable, reassuring voice ofAlan Rickman‘s Caterpillar one more time (“Looking Glass” is the late actor’s final film role).

The psychedelic mood of ” Looking Glass” is set by Pink‘s rollicking cover of Jefferson Airplane‘s “White Rabbit,” as Wasikowska’s protagonist travels through time – meeting the aptly named Time himself (Sacha Baron Cohen) on her journey – to rescue her tea-slurping, millinery-loving pal.

Synopsis: In Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories, Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter.
