Check out a quick peek at Kingsman The Golden Circle. We won’t be able to fully assess the ‘bolder, funnier, crazier’ claims until September, when The Golden Circle hits cinemas. But bigger is pretty much a given. The sequel has added a raft of big-name heavy-hitters to the cast, thanks to the introduction of the new American secret agent organisation, Statesman. There’s Halle Berry as the Statesmen’s tech guru, Ginger, Jeff Bridges as their leader, Agent Champagne (or Champ, as he prefers people to call them), and Pedro Pascal as Agent Whiskey, who teams up with Taron Egerton’s Kingsman, Eggsy, to try to take down Julianne Moore’s Poppy, a megalomaniacal villain Vaughn describes as “America’s sweetheart gone wrong”. Synopsis “Kingsman: The Secret Service” introduced the world to Kingsman - an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy… Director: Matthew Vaughn Written by: Jane Goldman & Matthew Vaughn, based on the comic book "The Secret Service" by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons Cast: Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry with Sir Elton John, and Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges
